Cage Dwellers; Singapore's Potential Future?

If they [you know who] are comparing that Singapore is much better off than Hong Kong, is this the standard of living that they want to drive us into? I almost couldn't bear to watch this heart-wrenching video. Despite its wealth, Hong Kong is leaving its poor to rot in squalid conditions. With one toilet per floor and just a few square feet to their names, thousands of cage dwellers live no better than animals. And this was in 2010 with a population of over 7 million, not forgetting that Hong Kong is much bigger than Singapore.

Will this be a similar story for us in the near future or when you age; treated like dirt? Would you want your parents, your children or future children to live like this? We were once known as the valuable natural resource of our scarce land but what have we become now? We are not the minority. We are not puppets. We all, do have a choice somehow. Let us awaken from this oncoming nightmare and stand up to our own life!
